Training

We love meeting new and current clients and providing training on employment law issues. Our sessions are interactive and engaging. We use real-life scenarios that we have come across before rather than delivering a boring legal lecture.

We provide general sessions on topics from recruitment and equality through to disciplinary procedures and how to handle grievances which anyone is welcome to attend. Our sessions provide guidance on how to ensure that your interview and recruitment processes are compliant, how to deal with complaints and grievances raised by employees, how to conduct a thorough disciplinary process to ensure safe dismissals and the steps required in a redundancy process. We also provide sessions on equality and diversity with claims relating to discrimination often being a far higher value than unfair dismissal claims.

We can also provide bespoke sessions to individual businesses on topics specifically requested, including training sessions on equality and diversity for all staff which can be critical when defending a discrimination or sexual harassment claim which relates to the actions of one of your staff. If you are a business that tenders for contracts, we can provide training on TUPE transfers to ensure that your staff understand the obligations of the business which is important legally but can also make a difference to the profitability of the contract you a tendering for. We are also regularly asked for sessions on employee engagement and management which provides an overview of the responsibilities of management and is a great session for your full management team to attend.
