When you have a specific issue or know that you have a specific project to work on (for example, a redundancy process or a specific disciplinary issue), we offer support on a project by project basis. This can either be on an hourly basis or an agreed fee in advance.
This support is often offered to businesses who have a larger HR team and want additional legal expertise for the more complex issues but it can be used for any business that wants to use us as and when needed.
We can provide advice and support on specific issues from recruitment through to the termination of employment and everything in between. We provide clients with guidance on specific disciplinary and grievance processes from the initial investigation through to the hearing and any appeals. We assist clients with tender processes, business purchases and the change of service providers, all of which can result in employees transferring in or out of your business due to TUPE. We guide clients through redundancy processes from single redundancies through to large-scale redundancy processes that may trigger specific collective consultation requirements which can be tricky. We also advise clients on matters relating to trade unions and other employee representative bodies.
