Hello! I’m Nick

Co-Founder of Evans Lamsley – Employment Law & HR Solicitors

Honest. Commercial. No-nonsense.

Rachel and I set up Evans Lamsley to provide quality, bespoke advice without the unnecessary formality or “hoop-jumping”. We take away the stress and time that can be associated with employment law issues, giving our clients the freedom to do more. All of this is provided to clients with the option of transparent fixed-fees allowing businesses and individuals to properly budget for their legal expenses.

I started my legal career working in Manchester with a large international law firm before moving nearer to home (Wrexham) and joining a firm in Chester. I have worked with a huge range of business clients, from start-ups with just one employee, through to some of the biggest companies in the world with thousands of employees. I have also helped individual employees right up to director level.

I love building relationships with my clients. My advice is personalised to the individual or business and is without all the formalities.  I don’t provide unnecessary long advice notes referencing legislation or case law, I simply tell clients what they can do and how to do it. One of my clients described it as being “without the bulls**t”.

I have dealt with the whole range of employment law issues from disciplinary matters through to large scale TUPE transfers on a business purchase.  What I love about being an employment law solicitor is that no day is the same and you never know what you will advise on next. People can do strange and interesting things and, often, those things happen at work.

I was born and raised in Wrexham and, via Cambridge and Manchester, I now live in Wrexham again with my wife (Louise) and son (William). Our weekends are usually filled taking William to play various sports, including tennis and football. I am also a Wrexham AFC season ticket holder. I have been attending matches for about 30 years which, until recently, had a lot of people asking why? However, with Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney now owning the club, things seem to be on the up and William thinks being a Wrexham fan is easy!

I can’t wait to start working with you.
